Heated sock styles
- Ski and snowboard heated socks — thin-to-medium cushion, over-the-calf length, low-bulk heating so they fit a ski boot.
- Hunting and fishing heated socks — thicker cushion for long stationary hours in cold boots.
- Work heated socks — reinforced heel and toe for outdoor crews; worn with work boots.
- Everyday and motorcycle heated socks — mid-weight socks for commuting, spectators and riders.
Toe heating and battery packs
Heated socks place a thin, flexible element — carbon fiber or graphene film, or conductive heating yarn — over the toes and forefoot (some platforms wrap under the toes as well), with the lead running up the leg to a rechargeable lithium-ion pack that clips or zips into a pocket on the cuff. Packs are 7.4 V or 3.7 V depending on platform, each sock has its own pack and button with three heat levels, and some packs add a remote or app control (which brings radio documentation). Capacity and runtime per level are measured on the sample and stated per SKU — see batteries and runtime.
Heated insoles
For buyers whose customers will not change their socks, heated insoles put the heat under the foot inside any boot — with the battery built into the heel or worn at the ankle. See the heated insoles page.
Yarns, sizing and washing
Common yarn blends are cotton-rich, merino-wool blends and polyester/acrylic with elastane; cushion zones, heel and toe reinforcement and a non-slip cuff are chosen per program. Size runs are usually S/M/L/XL by shoe size. Heated socks are washed with the packs removed, normally by hand or on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag — the care instructions are confirmed on the sample per SKU (fabrics and washing).
Warnings and compliance
Heated footwear needs clear warnings for people who may not feel heat properly in their feet, and we make no medical or circulation claims. No sock or battery on this site is claimed certified or tested; battery transport, battery-safety, electrical and textile documents are confirmed per SKU and per order through the general compliance process. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.

No certifications, test data, temperatures or runtimes claimed. We describe what each product is made of, how it works and how it can be customized. We do not display certification marks or listings, publish test data, factory capacity or customer cases on this site. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for the buyer’s market, as the brand owner requires. Every heated product contains or ships with a lithium-ion battery: battery transport (UN 38.3, SDS, dangerous-goods packing), battery-safety and electrical/EMC documentation is confirmed per SKU and per order with the supplier and an accredited lab before production. No medical or health claims. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Frequently asked questions
Where do heated socks heat?
Over the toes and forefoot — the area that gets cold first. Some platforms also wrap the element under the toes. The heated area is shown on the sample and tech pack for your SKU.
Will heated socks fit in a ski boot?
Ski heated socks use a thin cushion and low-profile element so they fit a ski boot; the battery sits at the cuff above the boot. Fit is checked on samples with your target footwear.
Heated socks or heated insoles?
Socks heat the top of the toes and travel with the wearer between boots; insoles heat under the foot and stay in one pair of boots. Many ranges carry both — see the heated insoles page.
Can heated apparel be washed?
Most heated garments are designed to be washed with the battery removed and the connector tucked into its pocket, usually by hand or on a gentle cycle and line-dried — but washability is a property of each SKU (element, wiring, connector and fabric), so the care instructions are confirmed on the sample and printed on the care label your team approves. See fabrics and washing in our specs guide.
Can we market heated products for Raynaud’s, arthritis or circulation?
We make no medical, therapeutic or health claims for any product, and we do not recommend that private label buyers do so: claims to treat or relieve a condition can bring a product under medical-device rules in many markets. Heated products also need clear warnings for users who may not feel heat properly. Product claims and warnings are the brand owner’s responsibility and should be reviewed by your compliance advisor.
Are your heated apparel batteries UN 38.3 tested or UL listed?
We do not claim any battery certification or listing on this site. Rechargeable lithium-ion packs and power banks need a UN 38.3 test summary, a safety data sheet and dangerous-goods packing and labeling before they can ship, and air freight carries extra limits. Many markets, retailers and marketplaces ask for more — for example a battery safety standard such as IEC 62133-2, a power-bank or battery listing for US channels, or EU battery-regulation labeling. Which documents apply is confirmed per SKU and per order with the supplier and an accredited laboratory, before production. See the compliance process in our specs guide.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the platform (an existing heating layout vs. a new pattern), fabric and color, size run, battery, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, documentation and season — heated apparel is a seasonal category, so autumn programs need to be briefed early. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
