The heated hoodie takes heated apparel out of the workwear and outdoor aisle and into casual wear. ParkaForge supplies pullover and full-zip heated hoodies — cotton-blend and polyester fleece, regular and oversized fits — to apparel and outdoor brands, e-commerce sellers, team stores and merchandise programs, with your colors, embroidery or prints and packaging. Heated hoodie styles
- Pullover heated hoodies — classic kangaroo-pocket hoodies; the pocket zone doubles as a hand warmer.
- Full-zip heated hoodies — easier layering and battery access; chest zones either side of the zip.
- Oversized and streetwear fits — dropped shoulders and heavier fleece for fashion and creator brands.
- Team and merchandise hoodies — club, school-staff, event or corporate programs with embroidery or print; the heat module is fitted the same way.

Heat zones, controller and USB power bank
Heated hoodies usually have a back zone (upper back or full back) and a kangaroo-pocket or chest zone, switched by an illuminated three-level button on the chest or cuff. Elements are thin carbon fiber pads or graphene film so the hoodie still drapes like a hoodie. A 5 V USB power bank in a dedicated inside pocket is the common platform — end users can charge it like a phone or use their own bank, and you avoid a proprietary charger — while 7.4 V packs are quoted when more heat output is needed. Capacity and runtime per level are measured on the sample and stated per SKU (batteries and runtime).
Fabrics and washing
Cotton-polyester brushed fleece, 100% polyester fleece, French terry and sherpa-lined versions are common; fabric weight, rib trims and drawcords are chosen per program. Heated hoodies are normally washed with the power bank removed and the cable tucked in, with care instructions confirmed on the sample for each SKU — see fabrics and washing. Kids’ heated hoodies are quoted only with children’s-product documentation for your market.

Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for the buyer’s market, as the brand owner requires. Every heated product contains or ships with a lithium-ion battery: battery transport (UN 38.3, SDS, dangerous-goods packing), battery-safety and electrical/EMC documentation is confirmed per SKU and per order with the supplier and an accredited lab before production. Frequently asked questions
Can we sell the heated hoodie without a power bank?
Yes — many sellers ship the hoodie with a USB cable only and let customers use their own power bank, which also simplifies battery shipping. The product listing and manual must then state the power bank requirements confirmed for that SKU.
Can you embroider over the heated area?
Logos are placed clear of heating elements and wiring; the logo position is agreed on the tech pack before sampling.
Do heated hoodies come in women’s and kids’ sizes?
Women’s fits are quoted on their own pattern. Kids’ heated hoodies are quoted only with the children’s-product documentation your market requires.
Can heated apparel be washed?
Most heated garments are designed to be washed with the battery removed and the connector tucked into its pocket, usually by hand or on a gentle cycle and line-dried — but washability is a property of each SKU (element, wiring, connector and fabric), so the care instructions are confirmed on the sample and printed on the care label your team approves. How long does the battery last on each heat level?
It depends on battery capacity (mAh / Wh), the number of heat zones switched on, the heat level, the fabric and insulation, and the ambient temperature. We publish no runtime or temperature figures here: runtime per level is measured on the actual pre-production sample with the chosen battery and stated per SKU on your specification, and your marketing claims must match those measurements. Are your heated apparel batteries UN 38.3 tested or UL listed?
We do not claim any battery certification or listing on this site. Rechargeable lithium-ion packs and power banks need a UN 38.3 test summary, a safety data sheet and dangerous-goods packing and labeling before they can ship, and air freight carries extra limits. Many markets, retailers and marketplaces ask for more — for example a battery safety standard such as IEC 62133-2, a power-bank or battery listing for US channels, or EU battery-regulation labeling. What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the platform (an existing heating layout vs. a new pattern), fabric and color, size run, battery, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, documentation and season — heated apparel is a seasonal category, so autumn programs need to be briefed early.
